I have been drawing pretty much my whole life. So how is it I didn't know till just recently that it's better to turn the pencil sharpener, rather than turning the pencil? I've always just figured broken leads were part of life but, as it turns out, turning the pencil means that the pencil will wiggle a little and stress the lead. Turning the SHARPENER keeps the pencil much more steady, reducing breaks and making a very nice sharp point. Am I the only one who didn't know this? I am completely amazed.
